“Welcome to Home Surgeon. We are a residential investment company that specialise in buying small dilapidated houses and flats. If you have a residential asset that is more of a headache than a home we can purchase it from you within a four week period subject to typical legal enquires. Properties we tend to buy are fire, flood and subsidence damage homes not covered by insurance.
Post client instruction we pay a RICS Chartered Surveyor to attend site to carryout an external survey known as a drive by. Should the surveyor recommend purchase we will then instruct our solicitors to proceed with the sale. We also pay your legal costs post sale completion.
This service is deigned to allow clients a quick and painless way of ridding themselves of an asset causing more stress and financial strain than its worth.
We have our own direct labour force that repair, reinstate and sometimes rebuild the purchased properties.

Asset Enlargement
Our newest and most unique department is called Asset Enlargement.
The service works where Home Surgeon undertakes the planning process at no cost to the client. If planning is achieved a section of the land or property is purchased from the client and subsequently developed.
Each Asset Enlargement case is different and subject to the signing of an option agreement.
This service has been created for clients whom are unwilling to pay for the services of a planning consultant due to the risk of not achieving planning permission and clients who would like to benefit from a no risk return from their property.
Two examples of current Asset Enlargement are outlined below:
Case One
The client owns a four bed semi set in a large garden with side access. Marshall’s Surveyors are currently attempting to achieve planning for a chalet bungalow set to the rear of the garden. If planning is achieved both properties will benefit from parking and suitable amenity space. The rear of the client’s garden will be purchase from the client if planning is achieved.
Case Two
The client owns an A3 shop on the ground floor and a B1 office on the first floor. Marshall’s Surveyors are soon to be drafting a scheme to turn the B3 office into two C3 self contained units. If planning is achieve one of the self contained units will be purchase off plan. The client intends to use a portion the monies to convert the remaining section of the B1 office into one self contained unit. Marshall’s Surveyors will be involved in full Project Management, i.e. building control for each unit, specification writing, tendering and contract administration. None of the professional services will be charged to the client.
